Last Friday when I fished the Susky was 8.9 feet at the Sunbury gauge...today it is between 13-14 feet...don't know where all the water came from but....

Faster currents and high water are just what the doctor ordered  ;D !!!

Well........Me and Pepe Le Peau went fishing today!!

Don't get skunked a lot this time of year but the 4 foot rise in water and the 4 degree drop in water temperature had them sitting tight with their mouths shut. I think they're peeved.  ;)  :)

I wound up shooting steel at the range.

I bet lead hitting a gong, is almost as good as the sound of the drag spinning with a irritated smallmouth on the other end.

The only good thing about this weather is that I have enough jig heads poured for a couple years of fishing!

Saw tonight there may be snow on Saturday again. How many onion snows are possible in a year. At this pace we may see 80's around labor day.

Agreed, interesting. As I see it Fridays and Saturdays snow may be the onion snow. But it may also be Mondays snow. At this point lets go with May 15, that's usually the frost free day for our region.

Geez, last week I was almost ready to tow the Rockproof to Harrisburg and now I'm bringing more firewood to the house and having more propane delivered.  If anyone wants to sit in my top row reserved seats at the Grove on Friday night, I won't be there to chase you out, again. :-[

This weather is so frustrating. To the point, I don't even want to be sarcastic about it even.
