Title: Happy Thanksgiving
Post by: DRY on November 21, 2017, 02:41:36 PM
Thought I needed some stress relief considering I must drive the I-95 corridor tomorrow.

The rain did not bring the Susquehanna up as much as I expected - problem #1
Water temps are dropping and flirting with 40F or below - problem #2
Upriver wind had things riled up and lure presentation was difficult - problem #3
Leaves and debris have not been washed away and the wind has them floating everywhere, shoreline is stacked with the stuff- problem #4

But...we persevered...nothing big...but 10 two to three pound fish came to my fish gripper. Long casts with a Cabin Creek tube on a 1/4 oz. jig were necessary to get away from shoreline debris and get out to where the fish were gathered for Thanksgiving.  ;D

Hope everyone has a safe and bountiful Thanksgiving!!
