Very nice pictures.
Brings back memories. As a kid I lived near Long Level below Wrightsville on the lower Susquehanna. Every winter we would drive along the river road and view the ice break up. Some of those pieces of ice looked as tall as houses to me back then. Winters were colder and the ice backed up behind Safe Harbor Dam in the pool called Lake Clarke. This is what it's like this year.

While we're at it...remember the ice taking out the Walnut street bridge in Harrisburg (1996)

I know the west Fairview launch last weekend looked similar to those pictures. Didn't get to drive along the river this past weekend. But since Saturday, from the south bridge of Harrisburg, it seems to cleared out. The walnut street bridge collapse, is still vivid in my mind. Hard to believe that was 22 years ago now
