Snowflakes on the trib
« on: April 10, 2020, 12:31:53 PM »
Strong winds and cold temps from yesterday and last night continued into this AM...but I needed some exercise.
Trapsing up and down stream banks and wading in the water is good exercise and there is not a soul around to spread viruses.

Dark skies rained down some snowflakes every now and then in swirling gusts of wind...had to put my gloves on.

Right now these trib smallies are heading to spawning places and looking for baitfish to fatten up on.

In 2 hours I picked up six fish on the smoke Lockett's a 2.5 and a 2.75 pounder. Sure is nice to see fish like this in a stream I can almost cast across.

The hours spent fishing are not subtracted from the lives of men!!
