Those probably came down from upstate somewhere rather then coming up river over all the dams. Have any pics I remember hearing about it but never from anyone I trusted till you mentioned it.

Seriously??? I've never heard of anybody getting stripers up here or even people telling stories about it. I didn't think they could make it up this far.

I don't know of any way they could enter the susky from upstream. Outside of bait-bucket biologists I don't see any connecting river or big body of water that has stripers in it that could get out. Lakes have dams that stop stripers.  Its a mystery to me. After 30 yrs of fishing that river and talking to family and friends that do I never heard of stripers in it this far up. I'm just saying its news to me.

There are hybrids in Hammond Lake, Tioga county. Hammond Lake to the Tioga river to the Chemung river, to the North Branch. Seems easier than getting over the three dams down by Harrisburg then coming all the way up to Wilkes Barre. On another tact, possibly someone released a bunch from their live well caught in Wallenpaupack or the Delaware. Still would like to see some pics. lol

There is Hybrid stripers in the Suskie.  I have caught 3 in the past few years and showed the pics to the fish commision. The one I caught was during a tournament with my club Suskie bassmasters and I took it to the weigh ins. (CPR)  I wish there was more they put up a hell of a fight on Smally gear. The fish commision told me they are coming down from dams up north. FISH ON!

I heard of a guy catching one up in Falls in June too Ed. I don't get it cause hybrids don't breed and it's been years in between the ones I caught. I'm new to this forum and I'm not good with computers, or I would put pics on here of stripers I have them on my fb page. Maybe the guy that runs this site will remember me I threw him a walleye on shore last year when I was a Musky fishing. Haha!! Hopefully he deep fried em up and can  teach me how to post a pic on here.
