Gill Baits
« on: July 19, 2015, 08:52:36 PM »
I tried Frances Slocum for gills two times this weekend and my honey hole seems to have dried up. I'm wondering if they might have moved into deeper water than the shallow flat I was catching them on. The water must have warmed up could this have driven them out? any opinions.

I have also noticed this myself when try to get gill bait at slocum.  But I was still getting them . I use a size 10 hook and a wax worm with a small split shot about 10 in above the hook. Cast it out and just drag it back . And they pick It up right away. I fish inside the park
How am I suppose to be old and wise if I'm not young and crazy?
