Ike
« on: December 14, 2021, 06:24:36 PM »
I fished the confluence of the Juniata and the main stem yesterday.  About 10 AM I saw a couple kayaks and a jet boat pulling out from the campground ramp.  It appeared that an occupant of jet boat was filming the kayaks.

When they got closer that suspicion was confirmed and I could tell that one of the Hobies was being paddled by Ike.  Ironically I was throwing an Iaconelli micro jig and within 10 minutes caught my only fish of the day.  Is that karma?

I watched where they went and after about an hour and a half I heard the commotion that accompanies him catching a fish.  When I looked over sure enough he was holding up a fish for the camera.  That was the only one they got for the couple hours.  Then the jet boat towed the kayaks away with everyone on the jet.  They motored a ways down river and then stopped to fish some more.

I donít follow his (or anyoneís) YouTube channel but I am going to watch his for a while to see what they have to say about a slow day.  Itís also possible that they were really just making a commercial for the kayaks.

He finally posted the video of that day here.  https://youtu.be/dmADWinb1S0

Only one fish at the confluence.  A few more after they moved downriver some.

Not a great day for filming then.
The only fisherman you should try to be better than.
Is the fisherman you was yesterday.
