Tragedy in Hanover
« on: March 21, 2018, 07:16:19 PM »
I watch several wildlife cameras around the country. Early this AM I looked in on the eagle cam that the game commission has in Hanover PA...they had more snow farther south of us...similar to a snowstorm last year the eagle was almost totally covered with snow with just the head sticking out.

That's got to be a tough job...done with great perseverance.

Late this afternoon I checked the nest again and...no eagles.

From what I can glean from Facebook talk...the nest was attacked by another pair of eagles...a battle ensued and the location of the eagles is not known.

It's a rough and tough world out there.

The hours spent fishing are not subtracted from the lives of men!!
