Ended up going out yesterday morning for a few hours with my youngest boy.
34 degrees in the morning. Only caught 1 fish and missed a couple others.
Water temp is 41 degrees.
Next couple days it sounds like it is going to be windy.

Maybe get out Wednesday for a little while.

Beautiful fall picture. Water is getting cold. Get out the cold water baits.

Every time I want to go it is windy. best day this week could be Thursday. I am watching amity hall cause the are drawing down Raystown so the level is not dropping as fast as usual! Wednesday wind forecast is looking good! Might be my last day on the susquehanna this year.

Bill good point! I have a hair jig and Jig N pig I have been fishing.
Caught this bass on a Ned.

Re-spooling a couple reels today with 8lb test and probably a grub or Fitt will go on one of them.

Phil I hear you on the wind. It has canceled a few days fishing for me.

Have you ever been out on Thanksgiving?  I haven't so I don't know how many go out.  I could see it as a day with the river to yourself, or very crowded.  The Amity lot doesn't hold a lot of trailers so if it is the later you could have a problem.

I have not. We have Thanksgiving here so that is not going to fly for me. for those who have a late thanksgiving they could go in the morning. Probably would have to be wakened for the meal. because I know I would be taking a nap.  ;D

Took my rod out for a walk today. Cold and brisk with 8 mph winds and a 27 mph wind gust.
Water temp 37.8
