Maybe I'm on a fool's errand, but I want to try fishing the river in West Pittston. I know it's high, muddy, and cold, but I want to try anyway.
What lures do you recommend?
Thanks in advance!

I walked down to the Schuylkill today it is clear but about 2 ft. higher that it should be I think this weekend I will wade it. I have only caught 1 smallie this year, that was in june, I have articles how you guys catch them on nov. that's on my wish list. jf7

That's on my wish list too John. I am hoping the new power plant puts out just enough warm water to keep the big smallmouth a little warm and a lot happy.
Jigs, jigs, jigs, jigs...fished slow...slow...slow...slow all winter. ;) :) 8)
