Title: River spiking again
Post by: zelmo on November 05, 2018, 01:19:23 PM
It was finally getting down to a reasonable level and clearing up.  Rain last week has it muddy and high and this week has it going higher.

Ugh.   :(

This year was and is Epic for all the wrong reasons. Going down in my book as the worst river year ever.

Just over one inch in my rain gauge since last night....

...another inch predicted for tomorrow.

Just another rainy day in Central PA!!

The only good thing about this river season is that I didn't hit many rocks!

At least they have backed down the forecast.  HBG had been saying over 11' at the crest; now it is saying 9.3'.

Final count - 2" of precipitation in the yard rain gauge!!

Fished for an hour today along the Que. When the water is at its current height I can always find a few smallmouth holding close to shore. Haven't seen a smallmouth for 2 weeks.

Very disconcerting!!
 ???  :(
