Title: Farewell 2018!!
Post by: DRY on December 31, 2018, 01:01:33 PM
Ended 2018 in fine fashion this morning. The rain (yes it's raining again) held off until 11:30 AM

So between 8:30 and 11:00 I caught my last 5 smallmouth of 2018...including these two piglets weighing in at 3.5 and 3.75 lbs respectively...

The last fish I caught this year was a poignant reminder that for all of its wealth and beauty...the Susquehanna River is an impaired watershed. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Happy New Year

Way to go sir. You are very fortunate to have that fishery minutes away from home. Happy New Year!

Nice job ending the year right .... For some reason I thought yesterday was the 31st, only realized my error this morning :o . I went out yesterday for my last trip of 2018 ended up with 2 more flatheads - 20 +24". Wish they'd quit eating my jigs  ;D.  Had planned to try again today but the rain hit before I got my chores done
