(https://i.imgur.com/u3z9Fdf.jpg) Was having a very slow day so decided to try to make one of Bill's favorites/ found some Poor Boy darters, my wacky rig tool and tore some skirt of a tube and came up with this thing.(https://i.imgur.com/4NUp4q0.jpg) Nine SM later I'm a new believer.(https://i.imgur.com/VvwsD0P.jpg)(https://i.imgur.com/OVQbIXJ.jpg) Thanks Bill for saving the day!

The Poor Boy Darter is very similar to the Undulator and Chillee Willee...with some tail and body changes.

Adding the "Flashabou" or the spinnerbait skirt material makes it look alive in the current.

What I do is actually sew (with a large leather working needle) the silicone strands through the head of the bait so that 3-4 strands stick out on top and bottom. Really don't need the 0-ring if they are sewn in.

"Necessity is the mother of invention" ...and your invention did the trick.

That jig head you were using also helps to present the bait in a "stand-up" position and allows the tail and silicone to wave in the current.

Glad you got into them.
