Title: City Island 06/05/2019
Post by: 1iarrowking on June 06, 2019, 09:22:24 AM
Put in at 7:00 AM.  Water level on the gauge was 6.3 and the water temp was 65.  The water was so dark you couldn't see the brightest lure at six inches.  Ran up to 81 and fished a stretch that usually produces then started fishing around some islands and finally about 9:00 I got my first strike and caught this one.  Five minutes later Harry caught one a little smaller.  Turned out to not be a pattern since we got no more strikes.  Moved east and drifted along Front Street, nothing.  Packed it in at 12:30.  I only saw two other boats.
