Title: Fishing the Susquehanna in the Windsor/ Harputsville NY area
Post by: Riverdawg on September 05, 2019, 07:17:59 PM
Hello all.
I am new to this site and fairly new to the Susquehanna River. I bought a cottage on the river last January in Harpursville NY. I have tried many lures and techniques with no luck. I've tried tube baits, jerk baits, curly tail jigs, spinners, top water, Rapala etc. I even got desperate enough to toss a worm and bobber out there.
This river makes me feel like a total amateur!
I noticed most posts are not from this area.
Is there anyone from this area that can give me some pointers or locations?
Thanks!
John

I am not familiar with your area, but in looking at it on a map the river in your area looks more like the Juniata than the lower Susquehanna.  Guys on here do post about fishing the Juniata.   I would suggest looking at what works for them.
