Title: Veterans Day
Post by: DRY on November 11, 2019, 05:28:53 PM
Hope everyone had a nice Veterans Day
Worked in the yard all morning then I took a veteran (me) fishing this afternoon. Fished from 2-4 PM
Beautiful day...might be the last for the rest of the week due to the arctic chill predicted.
Air 47F  Water 45F  Water levels dropped another .5-1 foot and it's getting too clear....need some more rain to make better wading conditions...but we may be getting ice
Picked up 6 smallies between 1.5 and 2.75 lbs
All came on the Willie Wannabee...I tried a Cabin Creek tube and the Lockett minnow but that didn't work for me.

That's a good couple hours. Thanks for the report!

Nice Bill!  Good fishing!  I'll have to figure out what a Willie Wannabe is...

I'm not expecting to get out any more after Veterans Day.  I see 50 degrees predicted for next Friday (Nov 22) but a whole lot can change between now and then.
