Rain anyone?
« on: July 14, 2017, 06:06:42 PM »
Wanted to get out this weekend but..........my rain gauge measured 5 inches of rain over the last 30 hrs. in Selinsgrove area.

Looked at the main stem at Selinsgrove this afternoon and half of it looks like coffee with cream. Don't think the north branch water has gotten here yet. Supposed to go up 3 feet by Sunday.

Much rain North? How's it looking up there?

River is still on the rise in Harrisburg, and moving up quickly. Was just getting to a good wading level too

Snuck out tonight for about an hour, not much happening. Had a couple of bites, and caught 1 about 10". It was really weird, where I fished on the west bank it was clear water. About 100 yards off shore, you could see it looked like chocolate milk. In fact when I crossed the south bridge, in Harrisburg, it was extremely noticeable also. That is something I am not sure I have seen before. But also, the river has been dropping down here since about noon too.
