Octorora Creek Snakeheads

Interesting article...snakehead fish in the lower Susquehanna watershed in Lancaster County.

The Octorora Creek meets the Susquehanna River just below Conowingo Dam.

I hope that a drive to Lancaster Co will always be needed. To catch one of those fish.

All of the lower dams on the Susquehanna (Conowingo, Holtwood, Safe Harbor) have fish ladders or elevators. My guess is that they allow more than just shad to pass through them.

Personally, I am looking forward to catching snakeheads where I fish around Sunbury/Selinsgrove. I hope I live that long.
