Check that! now going to 27 feet tomorrow. Still not emergency levels here thank god. But closer than I care to think about.

I've been using so much ammo at the rifle range...I bought a new air rifle to conserve ammo and save $$$.

I'm catching up on my fire wood supply after all those surgeries in 2014 and 2015, between all the storms.  I've got almost three years split and stacked after being down to absolutely nothing.  Sure would like to get my bottom food plot planted but there's a river running through it.

I eat venison 4 or 5 days a week and love it.  I eat pheasant at least once a week.  Waterfowl, especially geese, yuk.  I could eat a wabbit for a change but I haven't seen one to kill in decades.  I've eaten geese a few times when some waterfowler had more than he could handle but like bluefish, they need so much help tp get past the natural flavor they're more trouble than they're worth to me.

But I'm getting pretty deadly with coon, skunk and possum. They seem to love my yard.

Can't say I'd care to dine on any of them unless I was starving and at 5' 6" and 176 lbs, I'm not.  You know of course, none of them are currently in season, and I'm sure we are being monitored by the fish and game smokies.

No closed season on skunks and possums...and when they dig up my yard they need to go.

When I see a coon in daytime, walking around in circles under my backyard pine tree...that just ain't right. Rabies is endemic in my area.

Wabbits and squirrels I live trap (Havahart) and they get relocated.
