Anyone hear about a boating accident and a fatality in the Harrisburg area within the last several days?

On 12/7 they found a body in the Juniata and it was ruled a suicide.

Is that what you are asking about?  There has been no news of a boating accident.

Some friends who live in Dauphin called me and told me that a boat was found capsized and a fisherman drowned on the west side of the river near the Dauphin narrows (Statue of Liberty).

So far...I have not been able to confirm it.

Well...I guess that answers my question.
Thankfully no one was injured.
Very dangerous operation though and it doesn't appear as if much of the boat or motor was salvaged. Too bad.

My boat is insured for $18K. State Farm could handle it any way they see fit. :)
