Fishable conditions?
« on: June 02, 2019, 09:38:12 AM »
I'm tired of waiting and there is no rain in the forecast for tomorrow.  The Harrisburg gauge is shown at 7.3 feet for tomorrow.  I have never fished the river this deep. Is it fishable and boatable at this depth in the Harrisburg area.  Thanks for any advice.
The older I get, the better I used to be.

Yes - especially in the winter. Now it depends on color. You can almost always fish either the main river or the feeder streams. If the main river is up, fish will stack at the mouth of the feeder streams. My buddies have been stacking up the flatheads on the Juni since last week. So I guess it also depends on what your fishing for too.
