Old baits

I have so many packages of baits that I could never possibly use them up.  Some were bought on an impulse, some were from tips, and some were bought because they were working but for whatever reason I moved on from them.  I also have a huge supply of what I have been using recently.

I think I need to swear off buying new stuff and work on using what I have.  Has anyone dug into their stash, found something that you had forgotten that you had, and started using it with success?

Most of my "drop shot" baits.... for whatever reason I just can't catch fish with that rig ...  :o  I do have a couple of bags of a 3" flattened ring type "powerbait" grubs that I now use as a "trailer" on my smaller hair/skirted jigs with better success.

But most of it sits collecting dust.... saw an ad somewhere that a guy wanted old rubber baits to melt into new... played message tag for a bit then he quit responding.
