Expected more.....
Water at 40F...sunny 2 days...little wind this AM...Air 38...but the river is rising.....maybe they feel that happening...all the ones I picked up are still hugging the shoreline...

Picked up 7 over 2-3 hours.....

Best one came on the undulator...3 lbs. 8 oz.

Went shopping with the boss this afternoon...thinking about trying it again later today...great time to be outdoors...avoiding the corona virus...I hope!!

Like the Gershwin song from Porgy and Bess says..."It ain't necessarily so.."

By this afternoon the water temp at Danville read 41F...whoppee!! I fished.

Well...only picked up one 2.5 pounder all afternoon.

The water level has risen about a foot...so that might be the "fly in the ointment."

Sooner or later all the stars are going to get in the right alignment... ;D

Agree that conditions would indicate a good bite. Temp, rising water....must have been not holding your mouth right, that's all I can think of! Thanks for sharing; I check everyday to see what you've been up too!

Conowingo gates been open for a few days. So I went out to Marietta. Looks like the water got to 45 degrees. Nice and warm, froze my butt off Tuesday in the rain. Only got one fish.

Good to see you caught one!  I'm going to try and get out this morning "Friday"
Just need to have one more cup of coffee and look at water conditions.

I have an old Olympus Waterproof point and shoot camera that is held together with a rubber band. It hangs by a cord around my neck. It has a threaded hole in the bottom that mounts on the threaded stud of my walking stick. I mount the camera on the stud set the automatic timer for 12 seconds and then stick the walking stick it in the mud or lean it against a tree. Push the button and take the picture. All the while the fish is attached to my lip gripper in the water. The fish actually spends little time out of the water.
When I get home I upload the pictures to my computer and use a picture program to crop and improve the color, brightness and clarity of the pictures.
Then I download them to Imgur and paste them in my posts.
