Nice work. Are the ramps crowded yet?

I would say Seven points is typical. Tatman traffic is low. The Resort is busy putting in all the party barges! The resort opened May 7.

Nice to see the weight on that green bass. Nice fish. WIsh I had more success with SJBs.

That lure in the last picture looks like the "Undulator".....?? Did you add some silicone strands to it or is it the "Helgraleech". I've had good success with them on the trib I fish.

It has a red headed jig. Is that a stand-up or a Ned-rig jig?

One last comment....Smile man!!  ;)  :)  :)  :)  :)

Funny I was thinking about my pics I am not smiling.  :) I can assure you I am not a grumpy old man! Maybe I should use jerkbaits more often? I will tell you I do not use them the way I see most fisherman use them. I cast to the wood  let it sit and give 1-2 jerks. That is an Undulator with strands. I am pretty sure I saw you did that? The head is a 1/16 oz ned head. I use that weight all the time with 1/2 a zinker Z, casts like a bullet and dives fast. However with the Undulator it has a fall slower than anything. I had it rigged up ready to go and when I broke off a Ned rig I put it on.
I am going to try the willie wannabe with 1/16 oz head on UL. Right now I have 1/8 and 3/16 heads poured. I got a lot to do today.

Thanks!  I'm hoping to put in at Snyder's this week before the rains show up.

Good luck!! Never launched up there. But I have fished down to the damn. I recommend going real early! I did not use UL last year as the Ned rig seemed to fit the bill, I am gearing up for UL right now!! I have had some good fish but its been tough. It is almost like the SM have not gone shallow yet. Who knows I got 2 more weeks.

What ramp are you using Phil?  How is it launching by yourself?

I usually use Snyder, mainly because it is the shortest drive for me. Of course that means a longer run in the boat if I want to fish the other end of the lake. I have also used Tatman and I think that is easier solo but that means paying turnpike tolls.

I usually launch 7 points in April and Tatman in May. Since I am at Raystown resort I have been launching there. There was a delay getting the party barges in!! Those ramps are no problem for me as there are 2 ramps. I never launch at Aitch because of single ramps. My old Champion is kinda heavy so it does not motor off trailer too well. I use a long rope for launching, one end on boat and other to the trailer. From 7 points I can go to the dam and maybe marker 11. 7 points has bigger crowds. From Tatman to Aitch and to marker 26. They are midpoints for me. I have EZpass so it keeps tolls to about 60% of retail. I have always used the turnpike, I can live with that cost. I prefer steep ramps! For low slope ramps I keep my hunting mucks in the truck. hope that helps!

It does help.  Thanks.

I spent a weekend at the resort once and launching there was easy, but most times I wouldn't consider a ramp that you pay for since a free one is right there.

Tatman is a steep ramp!
