Great video

Mike Iaconelli and Jimmy Houston ... 2 of the craziest TV fishing personalities I can think of.

It's a shame he sort of glorified the black spots...didn't seem to know their significance...and did not talk about the decline of the smallmouth fishery...but he was selling something and having fun.

I noticed that too.  He definitely didn't know and I would say it was the first time he had observed it.

I would also disagree with his comment that you must throw those small jigs with spinning gear.  I use baitcasters for stuff much smaller than that and wouldn't hesitate to use it on those Missile jigs.  I am going to check them out to see how they compare to what I normally use.
