In the late 80s I tore up a scag on the motor on a alum. bassboat. Kinda took the wind out of my sails. BTW I am sure overcast conditions helped yesterday!

Went out Wrightsville last night - only caught 2 fish. 53 degrees.
A little lively this AM at Marietta. 56.5 degrees

Got 13 bass. Number 13 just shy 16"

Stopped at 1130 as rain picked up. Finished on 18-20" channel.
I had to get out with the overcast sky!

Good job Phil!
Glad you got into them 👍
That 16" was a nice fish.

We got 1.18" of rain today which should at least get the river moving a little.

Even the walleye is liking the Ned's  :)
The only fisherman you should try to be better than.
Is the fisherman you was yesterday.

You have more fortitude than I do.  I don't go out in the rain - too much hassle to get the boat and gear dried out afterwards.  I worked on my musky gear yesterday.

Good job catching them!

Bill, a friend of mine went wading on Sunday and caught 22 in 3 hours.  What are you waiting for?   ;)

Dry
How soon before you start back up?

I'm gonna to start getting a little more fussy going out in bad weather.

I did not. Although I am sure a couple fish a year won't kill you. I do like channel cat also.
