I don't think I have ever been at Dorsey this time of year. Any idea if the water level is affected much down there, meaning is the whole pool affected or just the area near Muddy Run?
How is it for debris?
I have never been able to find info on when it operates either, but I think it is safe to assume they are doing it every day right now with as hot as it has been.
Your still catching some nice fish Phil. I was running some skinny water yesterday 1-2' for a few hours and not even a hit. Guy with me caught 2 dinks. When you can't even get a single hit on a top water you know it's not going to be a great day. This week the fish have liked a black Senko rigged wacky. In the process of juggling boats...with the prices they are bringing sold my prop boat. Not sure what direction I'm going to go."maybe a bigger jet"
Well we have the 4th lowest water level on record. 0.39. The lowest on record at Williamsport is 0.69.Below the dam launch we are starting to run out of ramp. 2' drop at the end of the concrete ramp. It is messing up boat trailers trying to get up over that 2' drop.Hope that we pick up some rain off of these tropical depressions.Edit: Phil I just picked up a chatter bait haven't fished them before.
I do not use them much. Sundown and after dark, or stained water.Phil
Thanks I'm going to start fishing evenings more.
