You never know what you might catch when you put a line in the water.  Here are a couple of mine that I really didn't expect.

This guy was almost smaller than the lure:

This one was, well, just unexpected:

Let's see yours.

Some years ago I fished a small man-made pond nestled in the woods of central PA. It was full of lilly pads, largemouth and channel cats.
I fished by canoe and used wacky rigged senkos primarily.

This monster ate my peanut butter and jelly senko one day and towed my canoe into some lilly pads. Got these pics before I cut the line.

Not really any pics of interesting catches . I did have a little sun fish get aggressive on a top water about twice its size this summer, but no pics.

That looks like a good size Snapper Dry.
The only fisherman you should try to be better than.
Is the fisherman you was yesterday.

That is some turtle!  There must be something about Senkos that they like.  On several occasions I have had big bites when using them only to reel in and find it bit in half.  I have always thought turtles were the culprit.

No pictures but have caught a few interesting things over the years.... a water snake ate my spinner one day while trout fishing - that was "fun", a couple turtles on various plastics, a crayfish while ice fishing - guess I had my minnow to close to the bottom and a few mussels. Also pulled in a rod + reel combo that wasn't in the lake very long.

Had few close calls with top waters and seagulls but fortunately no hook ups. Had a muskrat stick his head out the hole I was ice fishing in(not sure who was more startled) somehow he did not get hooked on my jigging rod.
