Muddy Creek levels
« on: July 20, 2021, 07:04:02 PM »
Low as it gets. My sister told me the haze is from the western fires?

This what the pigs left for me (I pick up garbage every day):

It was a rattle trap day:

Phil
I use a jig like that and then use a Ned TRD on the hook. Have caught a lot of fish with that setup.

Got out today for a few hours, only 2 keepers in the 13" variety. Upriver had a lot of color to it.

Bet the grandkids loved that! You have a color you like with your jigs? I like black & blue and brown jigs.

They love it. We have a pool pass.
When I first started using bucktails, I used black and blue. For the most part I use brown in clear water and black in off color. I probably ought to experiment more! I have dyed all kinds of colors but rarely use them. Maybe I will throw a little blue on some. I always use a trailer after the water warms up.

Getting so low I saw and got a rattle trap back I lost last week. Typical day has been 5-13 fish. Had 16 yesterday. Couple 15-16, quite a few dinks. Running out of small swimbaits and all my favorite colors are out of stock.
