Kind of spur of the moment we decided to get out one more time before the monsoon.  We put in at our favorite place this year and ran up to a spot that was really hot on the last outing on the east shore.  We didn't get a bite so I ran across to the west side and started fishing
the ledges.  For the next four hours we had a decent pick boating 20 and losing almost as many.  Harry had the monster of the day tipping the scale at 3.86 lbs.  Most of them were 1 to 1.5 lbs with some dinkers thrown in.  I had one on that rolled on the surface at the back of the boat with me on the front and he came off.  Harry had a good look at it and said it was at least as big as his.

The older I get, the better I used to be.

That's a beautiful fish!
We went out yesterday and had a steady day. Big one being 17"

The only fisherman you should try to be better than.
Is the fisherman you was yesterday.

Went out muddy Creek last evening. Did not do well. biggest fish was a cattie on Ned at dark. Next biggest fish jumped in boat. 2.5lb smallie. I had that happen 25 years ago on Piscataway creek below DC. Funny!
