First smallmouth of "2022"
« on: January 06, 2022, 05:47:58 PM »
And the only smallmouth of "2022"

This 2.5 pounder is the only hit I've had in the last 3 days...

Water temps have dropped 5 degrees...otherwise the water looks good...

"Old man Winter" is moving in...I may try a few more days before this old man retires for the Winter...it's getting a little brutal for pansies.

Way to stick with it. I just looked at temps in Selinsgrove for the next week....brutal is a good description!

Bill, are you saying that you won’t get out if we have a warming trend for a few days and there’s no ice?

Bill glad your still after them.
I have taken my rod for a walk but no joy.

Hopefully we get some warmer days in the future. 5 degrees here this morning.

Of course that depends on the warming trend.  Moving up from 5 degrees to 20 degrees isn't going to help much.   ;)

Went down to the launch today. Snow on the ramp and a few pieces of ice floating down the river.
I should have got a water temp.
