Raystown 4/6/2021

(1/1)

Phil Sweeney:
First day at raystown donít ever remember it being this warm before on April 6. Typical raystown day. Tough fishing. Once a little wind blew in picked up about five on swim bait and I had one earlier in the morning on spinner bait.

Got that about five in afternoon

DRY:
Like to catch a bucket full of those, eh  :)

I imagine you stay off the main lake and concentrate on the smaller coves?

From the picture it looks like the water level might be down?

Water temp on Raystown?

Started out yesterday about 45į and today itís up to 55į Crazy warm! 80į today, I donít ever remember it being this warm in early April. Water level is pretty much normal right now. When those bluffs landslide they never seem to grow grass again. I went about 10 miles up the lake today hoping for some stained water. No such luck. Today was almost like yesterday where I didnít do that good until we got a little bit of a breeze going. Inside bends and coves today, most fish caught on spinner bait on wood. Thatís surprised me because of the water being so clear.
