2021 Fishing Season.
« on: January 10, 2021, 10:43:44 AM »
I have been trying to do a little bank fishing but conditions havn't been idea. Seems like there is mud everywhere, And it sure makes standing up kind of fun.

The fishing has been kind of slow, I haven't got to many bites. I did catch this bass last week.
It's not a great picture but I have a hard time taking pics by myself.

This was a surprise. Just took a few casts to check things out and this was on the end of line.  ;D

At least getting out and getting a little exercise.

I have also been trying to better organize my fishing tackle. But so far I haven't been gaining on it a whole lot.  :o

Everyone take care and be careful.
The only fisherman you should try to be better than.
Is the fisherman you was yesterday.

March has been a hard month to try and fish so far.
Some high water to contend with, Also cold and a lot of wind.
Finally got out for a little bank fishing today, but it was so cold I only stayed out about 45 mins.
Not even a bite today. fishing jig and a Ned.

Water temp for today...The water temp is coming up a little

Looks like tonight might be the climax to the cold weather (18F). Predictions look good for next week.
I'm organizing my wading gear and waiting for that magic number (38F).
I can usually persuade a cold smallmouth to assert himself with one of Winco's cold water wonders at 38F.   ;) :)
Seagulls are all over the mainstem...a sure sign of Spring
And for you birdlovers...here are eight bluebirds gathered at my back door for a handout last week.
